Working is healthy
Work has a positive effect on psychological health. Working people have less chance of a depression. People who work also suffer from physical complaints to a lesser extent (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, RIVM, 2014). On the other hand, good health is also an important requirement for being able to participate in society: it contributes to enabling people to work, study or do voluntary work.
