What can you find on this website?

The latest figures on the health of Utrecht residents are provided on this website
The Public Health Monitor Utrecht offers a comprehensive view of  the health status of Utrecht residents, including factors that affect health like quality of life, lifestyle, physical living environment, social environment and health care. The latest figures are available on this website, to make health data easily accessible. Once every four years, the Utrecht Health Profile is published, a summary of the latest health figures and the major developments concerning public health in Utrecht.

Health information, with a focus on topics, target groups and districts
The information in the Public Health Monitor Utrecht is arranged by topic and by different age categories. Within these age groups (children, youngsters adults, adults and elderly people), we examine health differences between residents with different education levels, migration backgrounds, household composition or districts. The key health figures are also summarised by district on separate district pages.

In the texts, we describe the stories behind the figures
The major findings from the research are described in the texts on this website. The articles are based on the figures. Explanations of the figures are also provided. These explanations are derived from consultations with residents and professionals and on in-depth research.

Health figures are available as open data
All health figures are also available in ‘open data’ tables, in which you can look into the figures in more detail. The open data tables can be found on the topic pages. Additionally, the website has a tool to quickly compare Utrecht health figures from various districts and years. It shows all information you selected in a single overview.
