A healthy living environment contains enough green areas
A green environment is attractive for relaxation, hiking or cycling, sports or meeting people. How often people use green areas and how they appreciate these, depends on the location, quality and availability. ‘Green area’ in this respect means facilities for recreation (e.g. parks) as well as the lawns and plants between houses and buildings where no recreation is possible (e.g. public gardens).
