The number of new early school-leavers is decreasing
Fewer and fewer young people in Utrecht leave school without an mbo level 2 or havo/vwo level diploma or higher. In the 2015-2016 school year, this number was 376. That is 2.0% of the total number of school students enrolled at that time. In the 2013-2014 school year, this was 3.1%. Nationally and in the other three large cities, this number is also decreasing, but not as quickly as in Utrecht.
